Founded in 1920, Privolzhsky Research Medical University
is the pioneer and oldest public research medical university in Russia situated in the Nizhny Novgorod city in the Volga region of the Russian Federation.
It is one of the two top research medical universities in Russia holding recognition worldwide.
Based on the ranking of the Ministry of Health of Russia, the university holds the fifth position in the list of the most demanded higher medical universities
in Russia and has been ranked
at the seventh position out of 46 Russian higher medical institutions approved by the World Health Organization

A nine-storey brick building designed for PRMU students. Double and triple rooms are combined in blocks of two. The unit has a shower and toilet. On each floor there are kitchens for self-catering, equipped with gas stoves, men's and women's toilets, washrooms with places for washing and drying clothes.

Hostel No.2
A five-story corridor-type dormitory, designed for PRMU students. Rooms for double and triple occupancy. On each floor there are two kitchens for self-catering, equipped with gas stoves, men's and women's toilets, washrooms with places for washing and drying clothes.
There are rooms for self-training. In the basement of the building, there are showers. On the ground floor, there is a buffet, an entrance
to the student dining room and a sports hall.

Hostel No.3
A four-storey building designed for PRMU students. On each floor, there are kitchens self-catering, equipped with electric stoves and laundry rooms. In the basement of the building, there are showers.
On the ground floor, there is a buffet, entrance to the student dining room and sports hall.

A ten-storey hostel is designed for foreign students. Double and triple rooms are combined in blocks of two.The unit has a shower and toilet.
On each floor, there are kitchens for self-catering, equipped with electric stoves. On the ground floor of the building, there is a Laundry room and a buffet.
